IPL -emits beams of visible pulsed light onto the skin, this light is absorbed by the melanin in the hair & turns into heat energy. This heat disables the hair follicle so it can no longer produce a hair. For permanent hair reduction most areas will require 6-10 treatments as we need the hair to be in the Anagen growth phase and only approx 30% of hairs are in this stage at any one time. The skinbase IPL system is medically CE certified. The system features a unique cryo cooling handset making the treatment completely painless and has a large handset spot size for quicker more effective treatments.  A consultation and patch test is required and can be given on day of treatment. 
Patch test is £12.50 but is reimbursed against any treatment fees
